We understand the importance of innovation and professionalism
The Mongolian Aviation Academy was established in 2011 as a non-governmental organization to promote civil aviation training in Mongolia. Our academy has been closely cooperating with IATA’s North Asian regional center and Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, and today, we have developed a reputation for offering high quality instruction, a friendly atmosphere and a good value for the future aviation professionals.
We are based in Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport. Its dedicated infrastructure with vast, unfettered airspace, coupled with benign EMI is ideally suited for flight training operations.
As of first quarter of 2020, the Mongolian Aviation Academy has commenced cooperation and investment talks with well recognized aviation training organizations in North America, including American Academy in the US and Algonquin College in Canada, to partner and collaborate in establishing Part-141 flight training, as well as Part-146 maintenance personnel training organizations in Mongolia.
On July 23, 2020, our academy signed a purchase agreement for a brand new, state of the art Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP trainer aircraft from Textron Aviation. Furthermore, in addition to fixed-wing aircraft flight training, the Aviation Academy is also planning to introduce the first rotorcraft (helicopter) training in Mongolia, on Robinson R66 and Schweizer 300CP platforms. Additionally, we will offer time building for pilots: you can rent our aircraft to hone your flying skills, use for aerial photography, or simply take a nice trip. We ensure all of our aircraft are constantly maintained to the highest standards of safety and security.
